Handsome Man Wow - was that handball the worse decision in a major game since all those Swansea free kicks in the play-off final?
No, because it was handball!

Royal Rother Can't say I particularly enjoyed that game.
Seemed to be lacking something.
I dunno - roll on August when the Combined Counties League restarts.

So here's a thought. If you hate football so much - just fcuk off to Non League and stop boring us with your opinions.
You were giving us your opinions on Adkins reign when you hadn't even seen his team play.

Always good to squeeze a reaction out of dear dear Leon.

Yep. Definitely the correct decision to disallow it. The ball wouldn't have gone in had it not struck Neymars hand. He didn't mean to do it but still would have gained an unfair advantage.

No Fixed Abode Harsh? It hit his hand and went in the net.It would have gone wide otherwise.

Where the ball goes or was going to go has no relation to it be handball though so yeah, harsh.

TBM It was like Ba's goal against us for Newcastle. Everyone was saying it shouldn't have stood - this was no different
Royal Rother Observation - the change in direction of the ball caused by the deflection off Neymar's completely wrong-footed Buffon.

Royal Rother The handball caused the goal of that there is no doubt.
I really can't be arsed to seek out the exact wording of the relevant Laws of The Game but to be honest I cannot see any good reason why that should be allowed to stand as a goal.
The fact that it was accidental should be irrelevant.

There is nothing in the rules of handball that make any mention on consequence.
It's essentially, i, then it's handball. Other than that, it's not handball. If it deflects into the goal, or prevents a goal, it makes no difference to whether it is handball or not.
The rule is there to stop cheating, not to prevent good fortune.
Saying "I can't be bothered to find out what the rule is, but I'll give my opinion anyway" means you have a good potential career as a pundit for ITV.
