PL fixtures 2015/2016

by Sutekh » 17 Jun 2015 13:35

Bournemouth host Aston Villa on the opening day and Liverpool get the chance to revenge their 6-1 stuffing at Stoke on the last day of the season by travelling to Stoke again.

Also if you look at the BBC site it's do nice to see fixtures arranged as they should be all with 3pm Saturday kick offs before SKY and BT ruin it all.

To see all go to the link below and enter the Premier League in the competition dropdown

I saw a Liverpool fan moaning this morning that they have 7 tough away games at the start.

Stoke
Arsenal
Man U
Everton
Spurs
Chelsea
Man City

To be fair that would be pretty nasty for any club in the PL. Got to be a good bet for being in the relegation area by the time they get to visiting Man City though

Worth a bet now that BR will be the first manager sacked next season...

Maybe not any value, he's been made favourite to be first sacked apparently.

Liverpool will have played every 'top' side away from home by November 21st.

While I hate the way people always dissect sections of their seasons (you play everyone twice) that's a pretty hellish start tbf, not sure what Kesmond's point is really (no change there)

They have 7 piss-easy away games to start, though. Is this better or worse than the other way round?

Most teams would prefer an easier start to get in their stride for the season. If you had 7 easy away games and picked up lots of points it would breed confidence for the rest of the season. I may be wrong but I can't see Liverpool picking up too many points from those games which won't be very good for confidence.

But you knew that - Not sure why I need to explain. Oh it's you.

Depends which way around you are dealt really. Liverpool will say that, having no tougher away game than Southampton after 21st November, they will be in a very good spot if they aren't miles off the top, especially with all of those sides still to come to Anfield (they don't play any of them at home until the New Year).

Any way - The Champions start at home to Swansea.

I get your LFC fan mate's issue, I just don't understand your reason for relating it here?

So what are the fixtures the Champions league teams have after an away CL trip?

That seems to be the main bone of contention from the top clubs over the fixture list especialy if they subsequently get brought forward for TV to lunchtime.

Chelsea also seem to have an issue with this
