He was sending some proper positive tweets during the pre-season. Sounded like he was on for beating the 106 record.

Walking Wednesday, good morning a stimulating brisk walk around the park in the sunshine before breakfast. Feeling energised for the day.

Thanks for enlightening comments, still a good day for a walk even if it is a day after Tuesday and a day before Thursday. #unitedtogether

Thoughtful Thursday, I prefer to know in my mind the team and the game plan for Saturday before I go to bed at 10pm tonight. #unitedtogether

Feel good Friday, ready for training, ready for the off, great view from the Managers office #unitedtogether

Saturday the 'Start of the Season' Good morning and thank you for all the good luck messages. Safe trip to all @SUFC_tweets #unitedtogether

Work in progress, see the big picture, after a loss you pick yourself up you pick your team mates up we keep moving forward.#Unitedtogether

I think the thread needs to be renamed "Adkins Mental Breakdown Countdown"

You've got to love the guy. He has got more enthusiasm than a Labrador on heat.

Heart is in the right place, even if his brain isn't.

I'd no more rule him out after one defeat than I would Clarke. Not a great start though, could do without losing in the next two or three.

Anyone fancy Morecambe to turn them over tonight?

Or winning the next three. That works well.
