2015/16 Half Season Tickets

by Big Foot » 19 Oct 2015 14:21

After a brief spell away, due to the appointment of Nigel Fraudkins, I shall be purchasing a Half Season Ticket... from what I gather these will be priced at £210 for an Adult seat, starting from the Brentford game on December 28th.

Who else is IN?

Shame really all the glory hunters jumping on board.

I can walk down with about a minute to go till half time, wait at the bottom till the whistle goes. Get a pint in have a fag and get back to seat before the 2nd half starts.

Won't be able to do this with all you bandwagoners

Nope! I'm pleased to say I don't miss going any more. Once upon a time I'd think nothing of driving 450 miles twice a week to watch us, League Cup inclusive, but I just don't like the game any more. I follow merely out of habit, and because, of course, I want to see us do well; but I don't care to be a part of it any more. The crazy money in the game, corrupt owners, greed (on and off the field), match day experience.. it's a different game to the one I fell in love with in 1994 stood under an old rusty roof with the hairs on the back of neck standing up, as the South Bank cheered on our underdogs. That said, the cost of season tickets/half season tickets is fantastic! I hope we add a few thousand to the gates and there's something to celebrate at the end of the season! I will join in by shrugging my shoulders and perhaps take in the odd game down the local with a steak and chips and pint of Kopparberg!

So out of love with the game that you have over 700 posts on here. Interesting.

I only recently started posting on here again. An interest in the club will always be there!

No. Work almost every Saturday so it's not financially viable.

You're definitely not sitting in the East Stand.

Yes - as I promised my son that if we were at least mid-table by Xmas we'd buy on. As it is, I'm going to most of the games anyway, so it doesn't make a big difference anyway .... just missed a couple early on due to work commitments.

Have prices been announced for half season tickets? - Perhaps they won't be half the price of a full season ticket.

Actually a bit tempted by this, which is odd as I'd almost entirely lost interest when the season started.

On sale tomorrow I'm told.

Not half the price of a season ticket, that would be idiocy.

I prefer to masturbate my Saturdays away, so won't be purchasing one.

This.

Plus even midweek games for me would at best be tricky, at worst impossible to get to.
