Clarke was probably offered more money and a bigger transfer kitty at Fulham. Reading would sack him in a heartbeat if results weren't good enough - it works both ways.

This is true, however i feel he won't be given as much chance at Fulham than he would here.
They will expect to go up this season - if they don't, or at least challenge to - then he'll be gone by this time next year
