They used to do £1.50 burgers there. Probably more now so for that reason I'll pop down the boozer for this one.

Used to be one of my fav away trips this.

That was until they threw piss over the away end and then targeted female fans outside the ground ( to rattle partners/son's etc & then give them a good kicking). Don't think ive been back since.

Hope we win in the most unjust of circumstances

Dunno why everyone gets their knickers in such a twist over going to Wolves (yes I was at the play off game).

Yep, they're a bit thick and ignorant - scruffy and a bit 1970's.

On the whole though, I've always found it a terrifyingly dull place - if it wasn't for the football club there would be the sum total of f**k all reason to go there, which could explain the frustrated comedic chest thumpers that most are probably referring to in their fan base.

Oh....and in x2 for another dull visit to dulltown.

Looking forward to this.

Ticket office chick said we've sold just under 300 (but it might not have been updated for a couple of days).

Can't blame people tbh, you have to be a bit of an idiot to spend X amount on getting to fukking Wolverhampton the day after Christmas, especially considering you could watch it in the comfort of your own warm house, drinking nice alcohol and eating leftovers.

Ah well.

There's never any trains on Boxing Day, that's why they've arranged such a local fixture for us.

I went last year and did feel quite uncomfortable in the town centre, they don't really welcome any away supporters in the pubs.

Doesnt matter up there. As soon as they see anybody that looks like they have more than half a Brain Cell then they know you are not local.

Some of you will be okay though :D

I last went ten years ago or more ( :| ) and the Goal Post pub was 75% away fans. Very near the ground too. I went back after the game and it was 75% home fans, but no bother at all (even though we had won, Andy Hughes screamer)

It's one of the most unwelcoming places to go to which in some ways has its own appeal. I'd rather like Reading to be a bit more unwelcoming, although not to the scale the likes of Wolves and Millwall take it to. Not sure I'd like to see our lot give a chap a bit of a kicking and have a load of twats watching on, 70+ year old granddads and all chopsing away.

Went last year on a bit of an epic with floyd, got there at half 11 knowing away fans weren't welcome in any town centre pub but with no doormen on the pub doors we so slotted ourselves in a quiet corner of the Billy Wright and put on our best black country accent when ordering at the bar.

Tbf in 2003 we dished a little bit back, but, yeah, Wolves are scruffy oxf*rd.
