That would be their style of football though, which evolved at the universities mentioned, not ours.

The USA does do football too, at least now.
The 20 MLS clubs averaged 21500 last year, which is non too shabby.
Other than that, and getting the sport wrong, the opening post was spot on.

The NFL averaged almost 70k a game, I think the OPs point is valid.
