royalsroyalsroyals92 Wouldn't it make a difference when you take into consideration the teams below us, and who everyone is playing? For example, if MK Dons have to play all the teams below us and win all 7, then those teams below us would drop points and therefore possibly not be able to get above us, etc...
Not as straightforward as purely points multiplied by games!

No, it's not as straightforward but it still stands that at this moment, regardless of who's playing who, every team below us bar Bolton can still catch us. However, the basic equation is that if we win on Saturday and MK don't, we are mathematically safe.

genome Found one. Here's the worst case scenario - we lose all 7, MK Dons and Charlton win their 6 games and whoever else is below us on the given matchday wins their match (with the lower ranked team winning if two teams below us are playing each other)
Of course, the odds for this happening are astronomical.
