Vydra will be off in a few months months, we are not getting into the playoffs which is why we loaned in the
1st place so why are we not giving our young U21 players a chance and putting Vydra on the Bench

I hope and pray we sign him on a permanent. He's 23, got more to come.

IMO with a big number 9, next season he'd be Championship top-scorer and we'd get automatic

Let's remember he's be playing in a side that's been all over the place,
has played as a lone front-man (ridiculous)...

He is absolute quality, a stand-out at this level

I too would love to see him here on a permanent bais. but I truly think the chances are minimal at best. he as just signed a new 5 year contract at Watford. if they go down they won`t want to let him go, and if they stay up they will be asking a hefty fee.
and thay is not the way Reading work.

Josef Fritzl Very frustrating player. The talent and the effort are there just cant seem to put anything away. BM said as much and thought eventually it will all click for him. Starting to run out of time though.

You'd prefer that Blackman stayed then ?

I can see Watford getting rid in the summer. He can't have a hope of getting a run in their current squad. He's had a pretty bobbins season......

P!ssed Off

From our 11 seasons in the 2nd tier since winning promotion from tier 3 in 2001/2.
Reading strikers* who have played at least 200 minutes. League appearances only.
Fair play to Vydra, doesn't quite make the bottom three.

*Included some part time strikers such as HRK, Blackman etc

Sorry but didn't Vydra scored THREE league goals not two -

Brighton (h)
Forest (a)
Forest (h)

Which raises him to 486 and therefore above Butler and our fantastic no. 9 - Kantdu.

Er, no...
After the original posting in January, Vydra played another 645 league minutes scoring once.
Giving a final figure of a goal every 701 minutes.

Had he not been lucky enough for the ball to hit him on the arse he would have finished with a goal every 1051 minutes, which is almost Nathan Tyson levels of shitness.

But he's gone now. So we don't have to worry about him anymore.

In regards to HRK, he scored 3 league goals over 700ish minutes after the original post. So his goals per minute finished just under 550 (In tier 2) by my rough calculations.

I just don't understand how he was so bad. It's almost as if he was trying NOT to score. All of the cries that "no one played him in" were utter bollocks and they faded throughout the season.

If £2.5m per year gets you that sack of waste then we might as well pack up and go home now.

This was my first thought - then I saw that these are goals in the Championship (2nd tier)

And Manset. Remember him coming off the bench to rescue a point against Millwall.

I'd take Tyson back if he's scoring over a thousand goals a minute.

This guy has posted this in January after which he scored ONE GOAL. What possible detriment could there have been to recall Samuel/play anyone in the final dead rubbers of the season? Fingers need to be pointed here, without doubt and I think they need to go to a certain bald man in a tracksuit.

Royal_jimmy oxf*rd off Vydra you useless fool.

I think we need to make a point of this in the biggest way possible. Like a pants and beach ball day combined purely for Matej Vydra for whoever he returns for. I can't see him playing again in England after this. Absolutely disgusting return of investment and quite frankly someone needs to pay for it with their job.
