FA Cup FInal

by John Smith » 20 May 2016 09:27

Sadly I can't see any way that Palace can win it and Louis Van Gaal will be exiting this summer with the consolation of the cup.

Anyone see it differently?

Anything less than a resounding Man U win will disappoint me.

Hope Man U lose, can't see it happening tho'

Looking forward to seeing the "Road to Wembley" stuff....and the all-day coverage (including the cameras rolling on the team coaches en-route to the twin towers) ....the Jim Montgomery saves for Sunderland against Leeds 1973 and the Pardew playing for Palarse clips on BBC1

I want to see Pardew windmilling van Gaal into next season, and many many many images of these highlights

I'd love to know what the logic behind the lat ko is? I can't work out a reason

Anyway, despite them sort of robbing us in the QF I'm in for a Palace win for Pards, the architect of all our success

Early 90s football magic

This post is brought to you by Les Sealey, scowling ferociously.

Oh bless

When he discovered he was playing, Sealey searched for Leighton to console him and found him in tears. After the match, he gave him his winner’s medal.Leighton slipped it back into the pocket of Sealey’s blazer. Sealey found it and handed it to Sir Bobby Charlton, asking him to pass it back to Leighton at a later date. The goalkeepers remained tight long after leaving Old Trafford. They often spoke on the phone and Leighton helped carry the coffin at Sealey’s funeral in 2001.

Delighted for Hibs, gr8 result. Watched first half in the Nags Head, sheltering from the rain.

Palace for the FA Cup please.
