Would you welcome a change of club crest...?

by McDermolenko » 26 Jul 2016 21:25

This season brings the change of many club crests across the country, such as that of Manchester City's, West Ham's, QPR's, etc...

So, with that, would you be happy with a change of crest? Or are you content with what we've got right now?

Surely that would entirely depend on the options.

Nothing wrong with it. No need to change it for the sake of it.

Our club crest is awful and very gimp. It just looks too new. Would love a proper traditional club crest.

Yes, 100%. But I'd prefer an older style badge. I especially love what Birmingham have done with theirs.

No more round discs!

Birmingham's change of crest last year was their 140th anniversary, they're back to the double globe badge for this season.

That's a shame.

Would only welcome a change if we go back to the Elm Trees badge.

I am fine with the badge how it is. I would hope they do an anniversary one for the 150th year in 5 years time.

I quite like our badge and think it's better than many other clubs current badges.

I was talking to a m8 the other day and said I wouldn't mind if we did the old one, yellow/blue/white one.

I would post a link but on phone and it's too awkward

That badge would look absolutely beautiful on a nice clean simple shirt.

I do think our sponsor would still look ugly as sin though

Our badge is shit - it looks like it was designed by a schoolkid who won a competition....

It is a good'un. I would be happy for us to return to a similar one to the shield. That specific design, with those colours does look quite d8ed, so maybe a spruced up version.

Instead of the vertical stripes, change them to horizontal blue and white hoops.

Mmm, not sure on that. Would have thought it would look odd on a shield. Vertical stripes seem to work as it draws the eye to the point of the shield and brings it together. Diagonal stripes could work though.
