Am I too old to buy a flag?

by bobby1413 » 05 Aug 2016 20:36

I'm thinking of buying an RFC flag and/or some stickers however not sure if I'm too old for it.

I'm 32 now FTR. I see Will and his firm have flags and a few of my m8s do too.

Is it like wearing your teams shirt - you should grow out of it?

It looks fun to hang around when on away days. Just wondering

You're only as old as you feel.

Unless you're talking about sex and you feel like you're less than 16, in which case you're definitely a pedo.

32 is barely the start of adulthood. If you want a flag, then get one and laugh in the face of anyone who tells you it's wrong.

You crack on, bob. If you want to buy a flag and put it up wherever takes your fancy, you do that mate. I'm a mere 21 myself, with a few years experience (long nose), and recently bought a skull and crossbones flag down Pompey harbour. Said flag is now flying high on my bedroom wall. Not a Reading flag granted. You get my gist though.

Thanks everyone, I genuinely mean it - I want to buy a flag and maybe stickers too. I've designed something - well, "designed" is a lose term as it's on a template, but I've got an idea in mind.

I was thinking of a simple design like this:

I wanted some text I think, and the actual flag to be big too.

Plus I wanted stickers to spread the RFC word too

tbf I was thinking of something similar to that so go for it. Make sure you go for a decent company. You can really tell the difference in quality..

(compare mine to Will's  )
