The next two games will decide our season. I've gone out of my way to book meetings in the afternoon around Birmingham so that I can be there. I don't get why others wouldn't consider wfh or half days for this. But then again it sums up why we have such shite attendances.

£20 as well. :|

I am struggling a bit financially at the moment and I'm still going.

I get its midweek and a treck but it'll be embarrassing if we only have 200 there. If the tides were reversed and they were at our place then they'd take 1K at least.

£20 a ticket, only 3 and a bit hours away. Surely 400-500 can be sold for this.

If anyone is driving from Reading and has space in the motor then PM me, very tempted to head up for this.

Well definitely not 400-500 as the club would have announced a larger allocation

Well done all, we can be sure the few who will be there will be backing the team to the max. Really looking forward to it.

Not me, I'll be berating Gunter every chance I get and murmuring "that's it, season over" every time we misplace a pass.

If it is better than the debacle at the arse end of last season, I will be happy!! Bringing my mate to his first Reading match.......thought I'd let him experience a typical away day......

Just rang the ticket office to buy a ticket for a uni mate. Said they've sold only 200 as of 2pm.

Anyone that wants to bemoan anyone who gets "embarrassed" by certain aspects of one's support eat your heart out at this.

That is fukking embarrassing, not even selling out your already initial piddly allocation in a game like this? Utterly atrocious. I know it's a Tuesday night but come the fukk on. Genuinely thought we'd sell the 500 with ease and take closer to 750-1k. How naive am I.

Hope you pcunts have a great day out at Brighton you fairweather bastards.

All I would say about this is that it may be true ... but:

In the past I've asked "how many have we sold so far" and been told a number. Then on hobnobium I've seen others quoting completing different numbers they were told.

(Maybe he missed the zero off and we've sold around 2000  )

They took circa 800 to a Tuesday night FA cup replay last year.

635 apparently, either way it's not "1k at least"

But you can add on a few hundred given it's a high stakes Championship game and not an FA Cup 3rd round replay.

I reckon they would just about break 1,000.
