StrandedWinston Biscuit Huesca up to the top division in Spain for the very first time. Stadium holds just 5500 fans and they have spent most of their history in the 3rd & 4th division.
Reminds of an interesting* story that came out last week, Holstein Kiel could have been promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time in their history (they lost the play-off to Wolfsburg) but were told they would only be allowed to play if they moved stadium as their ground only holds 12500. Bundesliga apparently demands that a stadium has a minimum capacity of 15k.
Did not go down well with football fans across Germany with people pointing out that clubs like Bournemouth, Eibar and now Huesca have no problem playing in stadiums smaller than 15k.
I am going to support Huesca from now on, buy a shirt and go to a game for sure
