Pepe the Horseman
windermereROYAL By all accounts Barnsley were very ordinary today and won with a good strike, game in hand against Derby on Wednesday and then a very big game at the vitality next week, Bournemouth should be up for that one.

Fingers crossed for a 0-0 bloodbath.

That will be very interesting

Could go well clear of Bournemouth if they lose. Don’t think they’d react well to it

If Barnsley beat Derby 7-0 Reading will sink to 6th place.

Nah we’d still be ahead because we beat them.

We would have;
- Same points
- Same GD
- Same goals FOR
- Better head to head record.

Mid Sussex Royal Barnsley play Bournemouth away next week so someone or both drop points, win at Forest and things will look very good.

Cardiff V Watford too next Sat

After Barnsley, Bournemouth have Swansea. Be amazed if they take 6pts from those, so massive chance to open a gap if we can esp. twinned with Cardiff's run next week.

You have to look at Bournemouth`s next 4 games, home to Barnsley Swansea and Boro, then away to Blackburn, they could choke in any of them.

Could do with them getting something against Barnsley and Swansea really.

Quite right too, that ref had a howler, if Swansea keep getting that luck they will go up auto, no question.

And rightly so. Boro had a good goal chalked off and that was not a penalty at the end.

The disallowed goal was an absolute joke decision tbf, and the penalty was, well, soft doesn't begin to describe it.

I think Colin was fully justified in what he said .

Gavin Ward is an atrocious referee so I'm not sure why anyone is surprised.

He's absolutely right to be angry. But whether he's right, like he is on this occasion, or wrong it is always funny when he has a meLOLtdown at t'referee.

I think he was spot on
But actually fairly controlled
Not a proper meltdown which is disappointing

Valid but Ward does seem to do the rounds with shocking decisions.

Didn’t look a pen to me seeing it a few times. Swansea bloke has either had a full on shot and then hit the tackle, which generally isn’t given, or the Boro bloke got a big chunk of the ball

Either way, very rarely see that given

to be honest Barnsley I would say have the easiest run in, they have to play Bournemouth, us and Norwich as there last game that is all i can see them losing on there current form.

I would prefer Barnsley beat Bournemouth as they have the harder run in and I think it will be between us and them for the final play off place.
