Quite enjoyed all the shenanigans, even if the commentator kept saying 'no one wants to see this kind of behaviour'

I always enjoy it when the word 'unsavoury' is used. :D

It's absolute bollocks really because everyone wants to see that kind of behaviour. Nothing beats a bit of handbags.

So, Savic v Grealish in the tunnel. Who came out on top?

Savic is a oxf*rd animal but I reckon Grealish can probably look after himself.

I had forgotten that Savic played for Man City. Son pointed it out and it all came back to me - he was absolutely terrible for them.

Athletico have been doing this for years, though, right? I am not sure why it is getting so much press attention at the moment.

Grealish would have been eaten alive by Savic

Why is this 2 yellow card rule over consecutive games not being looked at. How can it be that you can receive 2 yellow cards in 2 separate games and then miss the next one. Its utterly ridiculous. 3 cards maybe, but basically its like you are on a walking red once first card given for the next game. Just dont understand why this rule has not been updated. Dont seem right to me.

On a different note, is there a law regarding a player clearly losing control of himself on the pitch during a game? For me Savic clearly was not in control of himself and was a danger to others. I'd have liked to have seen him sent off personally.

This basically, or at least for his tunnel antics.

I also think it should be a yellow card for going toward the ref for protesting things.

Refusing to leave the field of play 5 seconds after red administered should result in an extra 1 game ban. These things are not hard to enforce and governing bodies could make football alot easier for referee's.

I think if players crowd the ref, apart from the captain , it should be an automatic yellow

An estimated 30k Frankfurt fans in Barcelona tonight watching Eintracht winning 3-1 in injury time.

West Ham up next.

The much maligned Conference League has a very decent semi final line up:

Leicester v Roma
Feyernoord v Marseille

Thought I'd jinxed them then.

N'Dicka being suspended for the first leg at West Ham is a blow.

Christ that isn't bad

Some really nice ties and refreshing seeing "different" teams in the mix this year.

Villareal. West ham v Frankfurt. Leipzig vs rangers (which is mental seeings as Leipzig have been a team for about 18 months compared to everybody else).

Really hope Villareal get through but would love a real vs Liverpool final, with West ham and Leicester winning the others.

No wonder barca, psg and juve wanted the super LOLeague
