All the games I've seen so far have been reasonably decent, well, apart from Wales - Iran. Wales' final ball into the box has been utter dogshit and they've been slack at the back.

And just as I speak, Iran hit the post twice after Wales give the ball away.

I'm finding 4 games a day a bit too much tbf. I've zoned out by the end of the day.

I always find it amusing that Welsh get annoyed that we don't take the football rivalry with them seriously. I think they really really want us to hate them so as to make it a big thing, but most people here are either just not bothered or would actually like to see them do quite well

Iran seemed to have turned up today against Wales. Definitely showing why they are where they are in the world rankings thus far based on this performance.

Everyone hates the English more than we hate them, worldwide

Deserved red card but why on earth did the ref have to refer to VAR.

I think the ref bottled it knowing he had VAR as a back up. Fairly clear cut though, could have given it straight away.

That wasn't a red because there was 3 players there around who could have got the ball, he wasn't last man!!!

I thought it was a deserved yellow

I think Williams was covering but it was late, high and dangerous regardless. If an outfield player had done that it would have been red.

How the hell did the ref only initially book him for that? What a joke.

Can't complain at the red card, can only complain at how it wasn't given initially. Is there (still) a rule that says VAR only review decisions if it's a yellow whereas they don't reverse red card decisions? Sure I remember that from when VAR was first introduced but might not be applicable anymore.

An Iran win in the last few minutes will mean that Wales are out if USA get any result against us tonight.
