Nobby Can anyone tell me how long it takes to walk to the stadium from Reading Station? Due to work commitments I may have to do that for a few games, leaving about 2.15pm.

From experience you'll just about make it to the gate but it'd be easier and quicker to jump on a madstad bus from the station...

cheeryoleary Anyone planning on walking due to the hike in bus prices? It's good exercise.

Where do you park your bike at the stadium?Jerry St Clair I cycle from the station. It takes a shade under 15 mins.
By far the easiest from of transport. I'm back at the station and on the 17.12 train to Newbury after most 3pm games.

bobby1413 It'd save quite a bit of money.
how much si the bus now?
say £3 x 19 = something like £60 over the space of a season.
Fair amount of money. All saved for just 40 minutes of walking

Well 12 and a half hours of walking in total. Think of the wear and tear on your trainers. And its guaranteed that at least half of that time it'll be raining. Wear and tear on raincoat?
Use the bus. You know it makes sense.
