5th Most Expensive Season Tickets in FPL

There is one surefire way to force down the season ticket prices - and that is if noone buys one. Like that is never going to happen is it?

At least with higher wages, and lower ticket prices, Sidwell won't have to worry about looking after his family as much!

The bubble has burst, many clubs in the prem have seats avalible on the day now, and they are the ones with cheaper ticket prices. Look at Charlton, sending buses to Gillingham to get fans. We will be able to sell out every game this year at nearly whatever price, as the club has so many potential 'customers' with members cards who will go to any game just to say they where there in our first year in the prem. The thing to watch is what they do to prices next year depending where we finish.

I don't agree with the prices at all, but then as we'll sell out regardless it doesnt really matter what the club charges. The Charlton example is a good one as they've put on coaches to take fans from Kent, not far away from where I live to entice fans to go, thats how desperate its got for them, and they're an established Preiership club!

As I said on another thread if we get relegated a lot of current season ticket holders will not bother to renew their season tickets I reckon. So the club would have to reduce them, they couldnt possibly expect to charge that much in the Championship anyway.

How is this ordered? Have they just taken the mid-point between the two figures, because if so that's not valid. Many clubs have a very small number of cheap tickets and a much higher proportion of more expensive tickets, whereas the vast majority of our tickets are in the lower price band.

So slightly dodgy use of figures, IMHO.

Can't comment but the RFC price suggests it was taken as a New ST holder. I doubt they take into account family deals. Think Charlton/Blackburn certainly offer them but certain clubs last season I think were lower on average gates on previous seasons (Man City, Aston Villa, Blackburn). Argubley the football at the 1st 2 was a factor but price also has to come into the equation and the lack of Saturday 3pm kick off's, which can only be blamed on 1 set of people - Sky
