Shortbread Gav - Louis was the Reading player, not Tom: they are brothers though. I remember Tredder on here moaning that Louis wasn't getting the chances at Reading that Tom was getting at Palace. Don't think that Tom was ever in the Academy as well.

Yes, I knew Tom never played for us, but wasn't sure if he'd done a stint in the academy for a bit... Tredder will know, but he's vanished.

Kris Boyd to join Reading on Monday.

Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso has emerged as a target for Reading. The Argentine cannot force himself into the Inter first team, so is looking to leave.

Reading will complete the signings of Bikey,Elliott,Boyd and Soares in the next week.
Shane Long will also be sent out on Loan with QPR and Sheff wed leading the chase.

Reading are looking to sign highly-rated Croatian striker Eduardo Da Silva from Dinamo Zagreb.
The Royals had a £4m bid accepted for the Brazilian-born 23-year-old, but face competition from West Brom, who had a £3m bid rejected but are looking to table a new bid matching Reading's £4m.

Valencia winger Vicente looks set to join Reading on loan for the season. The 25-year-old, who can also play on either wing, as a central midfielder or up front, has fallen out of the Valencia first team and want's to play in the Premiership.

Former Aston Villa full-back Ulises De La Cruz has been training with Reading recently and will earn a permanent deal by the end of the week.

Hmmm.

Never even heard of the Brazilian/Croatian guy, but am sure it will be in tomorrow's Sun/Mirror/EP, so can read about him then.

Why oh why is that site always linking us to strikers and wingers, neither of which we really need ...?? Not saying we won't buy any but you'd think they'd pick a more likely target ....

Reading are chasing Fiorentina defender Tomas Ujfalusi.

With Dave Kitson out injured and Shane Long leaving on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, Reading are looking to add Watford striker Darius Henderson and Steve Coppell has made a £3m bid for him

I literally burst out laughing at that!!!!

:D

I can't decide which is funnier; the thought that Woodgate would leave Real Madrid to come here, the thought that Coppell would consider bringing back a player he didn't rate either here or at Brighton, the fact that we would offer £3M for Darius, or the thought of how SDR would greet the news if we did buy him back for that sum!!!!!

On reflection, the latter!!!!!!!

Keep 'em coming; this site is brilliant!!!

(Reading will re sign Paul Brooker from Brentford for a fee thought to be in the region of £700k. Brooker left Reading 2 seasons ago, despite Coppell's desperate efforts to keep the tricky winger)

Wat a Joke!!!!!
