firstdivision Yes I think he should be given until Christmas to turn it around.

His system relies on quality (you don't say?) it is clear that he doesnt have enough of and he needs more time and to waste more money to take us down.

He inherited an assettt stripped squad, missed out on Tommy Smith (clearly the be all and end all, Jesus Christ in football kit), and I can't scapegoat one man for the failings of others at the club. I really cannot see that anyone else would take what we have now and turn them into match winners. Be worth a try though wouldn't it. Winning one match would help.

The Premier League now seems exactly what it was, a couple of years in fairyland, and we are now back where we belong until we get some money to invest in the squad. I am seriously depressed about our prospects this year but it is clear we are not going to bounce back to the premiere league for @ another 5 years at the earliest. so lets go all the way down the divisions in the meantime.

Sack BR? pointless window dressing that keeps the baying mob happy....and might be our only chance of survival.
