Hoop Blah Good to see Milner getting a run out in his best position, and the two Southampton players getting a start.
Never keen on Rooney playing up top on his own though.

stealthpapesjd82 So in summary - all international careers are meaningless unless you win something.
Its relative to expectations of both player and team.
But its notable to see the hint of expectation ramping on this thread for next summer.

Silver Fox Some solid racism from Townsend on commentary regarding the Chileans being a bit naughty, his trip to the unemployment line is the only good thing about BT Sport's attempts to take over the world

Barry the bird boggler England themselves are over rated crap who a lot of planks seem to think could win the works cup next year![]()

People always say this, but try to find people actually predicting success for England, and you have to search pretty hard.

Nope. It's easy. There's spots and spatters of it on this thread.

St. Brynjar Needs to be a mix of Carrick, Wilshere and Gerrard in Brazil. Not enough room in the squad for Lampard, especially when someone like Gareth Barry is on far better form, and younger players like Rodwell, Jones, Henderson and maybe even Cleverley (lol) available.
With everyone fit I'd go for a 4-3-3 of:
---------------------------------------Hart-------------------------------------
Johnson-------------Jagielka/Jones-----------Cahill--------------------Cole
---------------------------Carrick-----------------Wilshere-----------------
--------------------------------------Gerrard----------------------------------
Walcott-----------------------------Rooney--------------------------Sturridge
