Behindu RB was saying that RFC were being insincere in saying on the one hand they regret the decision, and on the other that it is made on sound business grounds. I have no idea why they have stopped the lottery so have no idea if it is a sound business decision but I thought the analogy was OK.

They actually said they were stopping it for Business Reasons - not sound business grounds. But, whatever, they meant, it's a great shame imho.

Indeed, and I would suspect it could still be run by someone else if anyone was prepared to put in the time. I've no idea if it makes much money but whilst £10k a year (say) might not be much for a Premier league club it would go a long way to fund some fan related activity....
