I hear other premiership clubs get free shuttles from town to their grounds, is this correct? If so, why doesn't Reading do this (Instead charge £3 per person)?
Wait a minute... more money

Huntley & Palmer There are plenty of ways of getting to the stadium without driving, especially if you do not have to worry about small children.

Don't the club already subsidise the bus service? Any charge is made by Reading Buses not RFC.

Northern Git EP also has the plans for Green Park village that includes a railway station which might help access a bit

RoyalBlue There should be no need for anyone to subsidise buses that are packed full of people on all of their journeys. IMO the fares charged should more than cover the operating costs. I suspect football supporters are actually subsidising over aspects of Reading buses operations.

Huntley & Palmer Supply and demand, while there is not much other option from the station other than taxi or walking it they can charge as much as they want.
