Compo's Hat Amazing to think Tom Hateley was another youngster we let go.

His goal against Rangers earlier in the season was much better!

Maquisard So how does that affect Europe?

As it stands...

--Motherwell are in fourth on 52 (-2) and would be entered in the Europa League second qualifying round if they finished there
--Hibernian are fifth on 51 (+1) and would miss out
--These two are assured of finishing in fourth and fifth*, with the specific order to be determined on the last day (when Motherwell are away to Rangers as Hibernian play Dundee United away; KOs Sunday 1:30 PM)

However, if Dundee United --who are assured of finishing third (and, as it stands, are thereby entered in the third qualifying round of the Europa League)-- were to defeat Ross County in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday week, then...

--Dundee United would move up a rung and be entered in the Europa League play-off round as Scottish Cup winners
--Whichever of Motherwell or Hibernian finishes fourth would be entered in the Europa League third qualifying round
--Whichever of Motherwell or Hibernian finishes fifth would be entered in the Europa League second qualifying round

*Hearts would draw level on points with Hibs with a win over Celtic and a Hibs loss, but their GD stands at -10

Nope, I've read this post 8 times and it still makes my head spin. :?

But another excellent comeback from 'Well for a draw against Rangers.

If only Dundee U had understood what was required of them.
