Starfish England to win 3-1 in normal time. The German defence is not the most solid at the tournament and I can see them conceding early and being hit on the break again and again.

bobbybottler Capello needs to find a way of getting Gerrard to stay on the left hand side and stop Lahm committing defenders....which in turn creates space for Ozil and Poldi. Stop Lahm stop Germany.
I have an odd feeling that England might win this one, think that the WC is in the bag and then capitulate in the QFs

Only just - 3 vs 2.
And most of Germany's goals coming against a poor Australian side that went down to 10 men. I'm not convinced it wasn't a one off. Especially considering Klose & Podolski's domestic form.
I did also allude to Klose coming back in possibly making the difference.
Mags, the law of averages has nothing to do with. It's about quality and mental strength. We don't have enough of either, particularly the mental side.
