There must be something missing from this ridiculous saga, either that or the current owners are complete lunatics.

These recent cases have shown there needs to be a special dispensation with sporting “businesses” whereby idiot owners can be forced to sell when offers are on the table and third parties can force a club into administration when necessary.


The Morecambe owner did pretty much the same thing at Worcester rugby but was unfortunately already in at Morecambe before doing it.

No idea why he does this - whether he feels the land has more value being used for something else but one hopes they get it sorted but sadly, unless the deal goes through quickly, you can see them having to restart at the bottom.


Looks like their idiot owner has finally agreed the sale but won’t hold my breath over it just yet.
