The 17 Bus Maybe it was because Boyd Butler left after pissing so many off with his linked tickets and the job was not immediately filled.

As for the two games, at the two december games last season both had just over 23000, so 1000 spare at each, I seem to recall a lot of that was in the home stands as well.

2/12/06 v Bolton Att: 23,556 Away Fans: 1,767 Home Fans: 21,789
16/12/06 v Blackburn Att: 23,074 Away Fans: 1,256 Home Fans: 21,818

Season Average Att: 23,829 Away Fans: 1,976 Home Fans: 21,853

So the two home games in December saw no significant difference in the number of home fans from the season average.

Schards#2 Makes you wonder why they didn't do this for the odd league game last year.

I do wish people would read posts correctly before trying to act all cocky, otherwise it makes them look rather foolish, doesn't it!

Or just maybe it was a slightly tongue in cheek response ?

Probably the most appropriate one wouldn't you think ?

I doubt it was tongue-in-cheek - even if it was, it wasn't a very clever comment imho. but you go on sticking up for everyone and the club - despite the fact that even the club have been quoted as saying it's more difficult to sell home tickets this season! Which is all we've been saying.

That's possibly the worst thing you could ever accuse someone of 'sticking up for everyone' !! Wow... although obviously it's garbage as only a couple of days ago I was accused by a poster of automatically disagreeing with everything he says...

And why are you still wibbling about Schard's tangental obsession ? Months ago it was established that the demand for tickets has changed this season !! You seem to not want to face up to the bit that is the real discussion....

For god's sake, let's not turn this thread into "Son of the thread that never dies..."

Can't we just agree that people have different opinions on this question?

Schards and RL have one opinion, and the rest of the world has the opposite opinion.

RL and Behindu seem to be as one on their inability to use the quote facility.

To be fair, they're not the only ones. There's a lot of people that obviously don't bother checking their quoting once they've posted.

The 'Preview' button is there for a reason, people, let's try and use it.

I'd imagine that some people have been made so angry by what they're replying to that they hammer out their post on the keyboard in a fury and then submit it immediately before they calm down, without doing a preview.

As someone once said, rages could be a problem.

TBH I have agreed with pretty much everything RL and Schards have said with regards to expansion it's just this section provides very little scope for post ramping

I'm amazed anyone thinks anything they post is worth 'checking' ! It's throwaway garbage, do people really waste time 'previewing' their thoughts on the best disposable biro or whether Roger Jocelyn was the second or third best beardie to play for the Royals ?

I will check this one though, just to ensure the aesthetics of the quote are retained...

For what it's worth I actually think the quote facility has a bug - I mean how can you 'misuse' it when it consists of hitting one button !!

My last word on this thread is to point out that I am perfectly capable of using the quote facility. I may have quoted Behindu, who didn't quote properly, but that's all. Thanking you.

I can use the quote facility as well !!!

And I would point out that RL's claims that she was merely quoting my defective quote are clearly wrong as if that were the case then my defective quote would surely have appeared in quotes.

I maintain my stance that the Quote facility is in some way flawed....

Behindu - FWIW (which, I appreciate, is nothing), I think that you fukked up first, and in quoting you RL repeated your mistake which she could have corrected had she been sufficiently on the ball to do so.

I agree with TROLI as to the reasons why you both fukked it up.

I'm actually prepared to shoulder the blame then.

I'll also accept the diagnosis of senility.

it's a fair cop....
