Hughton as Manager and Coppello as DOF.

Might take it up 'til the end of the season because it's Palace. Can't see it happening myself. Certainly not going to be DoF IMO.

Nope, but he is offering advice to the Palace chairman on the appointment of a new manager.

It would all depend on what that DoF role involved though surely?

If it was doing the admin in the way that Hammond does here then no. If it was acting as a sounding board for a young manager and having some input on the playing side without the direct responsibility of being manager then I could see it happening at some point (although I still think it's unlikely for now).

Ideal According to the CP forums he was in attendance for their game today, in which Steffen Iversen scored the winning goal on his debut.

So.. Coppell for Palace then?

Iversen must be 45 by now.

I noticed George Burley was sacked by Palarse with indecent haste immediately after the game at Millwall. Now the New Den is a pretty inhospitable place at the best of times and I doubt very much that he travelled back on the team coach across South London. So was poor George left wandering the streets of Bermondsey in search of a cab back to Clapham Junction?

Ideal Same age as Ian Harte, and as we know, he's 112 years old..?

Harte is nearly a year younger.
