Manager Interviews - sponsored by Specsavers

This is really beginning to wind me up - and BMcD has joined the party.

Dalglish says he didn't see the two footed lunge and it's clear from his body language that this was a simple lie
Wenger has got significant form

Now BMcD says he didn't see HRK's tackle that should have been red.

For God's sake - these managers should be fined for not doing their jobs. Aren't they supposed to be watching the game ?

Indeed there is form and there is very much a  factor involved with serial offenders.

McDermott's comments, however, I interpreted as being that he hadn't seen the replay as opposed to declining to comment on it entirely. In all honesty from where I was in the away end it seemed a bit innocuous, a challenge was made that looked like it was a touch high but that minimal contact was made. On seeing the replay though my view completely altered. It could be that McDermott was in a similar situation because he rarely declines to comment controversial incidents...

Don't get me wrong - I'm not suggesting for a minute that BMcD is a serial offender.
But to say he didn't see it ............

It's just a managers version of "no comment"
