Good news.
No real upside to having the fixtures messed around with for Sky.

Ratings i'd assume. Both bigger clubs with bigger fan-bases.

I don't think the champions Bournemouth featured too much last season - definite bias towards Leeds.

Are you serious? Live matches are about viewing figures. Both Leeds and Derby have more supporters living away from their hometown than we have who actually go to Reading's home games.

As do Forest and Sheffield Wed....I'm not expecting us to be on every week, just curious as to why some of the other larger teams in the Championship aren't higher in that list.

Would be interesting to see the viewing figures for each club on Sky, but i can't see it being anything other than viewing figures. Leeds must have the biggest support base outside of the premier league.

Who are they playing in the games ?
Maybe 5 big teams just happen to be playing Leeds....

Just found some interesting graphics on this

http://www.cityam.com/206210/leeds-united-no-other-football-league-club-has-had-more-live-games-sky-sports-yorkshire

We're bang average in the number of championship games shown:

However, when you look at the viewing figures, we're third in current champ teams after Leeds and Forest.

Leeds and Forest are at the top which would make sense, but, our viewing figures vs our games shown mean that we are indeed getting the raw end of the deal as are Bristol Rovers.

Sky dont realise showing a club with the most supporters alienates a percentage the rest of the audience.

I recon they probably know exactly what they're doing, they're making a mint doing it, they'll have all the data to show them that it makes sense. Perhaps they have more subscriptions in that area of the country, or those people are more likely to pay the NOW TV premium.

I won't be put off from watching a Reading game when it's on just because more Leeds games were shown.

...or maybe our high viewing figures were to do with who we were playing, rather than the the lure of watching us.

Are you for real ? its about the audience that watches the games overall. Sky are losing because they think everyone wil watch the top 4 because they support them. unlucky sky,. 70% of your audience doesnt agree.

Yes i am, very much so. A company wouldn't be successful if it continually got it wrong. Sky have reported a viewer growth of 16% in the last year. Yes that's across the whole board, but i'd fairly well suggest they know what they're doing, and are making a lot of money doing it.

Of course, could be, I accept your point, however you have to apply the same caveat to the whole league.
