Having subscribed to this, occasionally, you get a bit of goss worth having but.............................

Considering they charge us, what is it? a quid a text?

Why do they nearly always send it out twice.

This morning I got a text about signing 3 Koreans to the academy - twice. Ok, its RFC related news....just!

I know I can opt out of the service and in fact thats exactly what I am going to do but in truth, I'd put up with the non event "news" texts were it not for the blatant rip off of sending the same premium rate text out twice.

Anyone else feel the same?

An utterly pointless 'service', especially if you have access to the internet (which you clearly do...)

I haven't had any texts for ages. Since we signed Sissy actually. Not bothered though, the only time I really need it is if I'm totally away and have no internet access during the season so I get results. Doesn't happen very often (twice I can think of) and when it has happened the texts haven't come through due to some sort of error on their part. Glad to see the back of it really.

Get a friend to text you news, results etc. It's far cheaper!

We've got a friendly Pompey fan who will keep us informed by text throughout our holiday - results, scorers, signings (hopefully) etc.
