Wokingham Bus on matchdays

by Geekins » 20 Dec 2007 09:41

I might be getting the bus on Saturday from Wokingham town centre. Anyone else recommend it. I looked on the website and it said that it leaves around half 12 and gets there for 2 but doesn't get back till gone 7. is that true?

How much does it cost?

Unless it's less that £3.50 pp then we'll still be driving and parking at HP.

Cheaper to drive to the Foster Wheeler and get a £3 return park and ride. Plus much easier and flexible.

Reading buses, that is.

Stagecoach aren't doing it.

Not on the bracknell, wokingham, basingstoke or farnborough buses as they are run by Stagecoach not Reading Buses

If you have a car full...... however driving from Wokkers to Foster Wheeler and back may cost you more than 2 Pounds per person.

Also, no long queue for the bus back to Foster Wheeler

And, you can have a decent pint in a real glass served by people who speak English as their first language, supporting local businesses and jobs, and reducing your carbon emissions.
