Cardiff v Swansea

by Jerry St Clair » 04 Apr 2009 13:45

The last ever league derby at Ninian Park kicks off at 11am tomorrow. Shirley, this is the earliest a professional game has ever kicked off in this country?

Anyway, Swansea win please. Fanks.

My bad. I'm not sure if they will include it in the English record books though.
11:15am Manchester City against Everton 2nd October 2005.

Do Norwich and Ipswich games really kick off at 11am? Christ alive, it's hardly Rangers v Celtic is it?

In my opinion the only other game that could be considered worthy of such a kick off time would be the Brizzle derby.

Reading v Oxford in 1999/2000 (can't remember which) kicked off at 11am on a Sunday as I got the landlord at my uni local to open up just so I could watch the game 8)

I'll take 2-2....it means Cardiff can't catch us with their game in hand.......they only will if we keep playing sh*t.......

Absolutely cracking game. Was really envious of the Swansea fans when Allen scored in the 88th minute; looked absolutely mental in the away end.

Awful decision from Dean for the Cardiff penalty.

Finally, on a slightly more pessimistic note, both of these teams would dick us in the play-offs the way we're playing at the moment.

That's the second game in the last few that McCormack has scored a penalty in the last minute.

Chuck 'em out I say, even making these clowns kick off at 11am they can't be trusted

Having said that it was quite funny to see Mike Dean get really eggy
