Depends how the person in question chooses to follow Ramadan surely. In this particular case I would want to know if Muntari ate or drank on the day of the game or not.
There are loads and loads of practicing muslim footballers all over Europe, even in England shock horror. can't remember reading reports of Ramadan causing problems for them

Toon Toon Blue army As a manager I would defiantly think twice about signing players who would fast or miss a chunk of the season through the African Cup of nations.
